The Cookery Masterclass at Chewton Glen

29th November / Bizpedia

Our cookery masterclasses have always had a certain magic to them. They quickly break the ice and provide all the ingredients for a very funny business networking experience. Here is a brief rundown of the most recent Cookery Masterclass at Chewton Glen’s “The Kitchen” with the Bizpedia Winchester group.

The experience began with our guests being warmly welcomed to the venue with freshly brewed coffee, pastries, and an opportunity for some casual networking before the event officially began.

After everybody arrived and had a chance to chat, participants gathered in the cookery school for the members’ and guests’ formal introductions, followed by the separation into pairs for the engaging hands-on experience!

With the demonstration and guidance from the expert chefs, the group crafted their own culinary masterpieces, and any silence was filled with the buzz of conversation and laughter. The interactive cooking session allowed pairs of business leaders to meet for the first time and bond over the art of Greek cuisine.

With the cooking complete, guests settled down to savour not only their delicious dishes but also to get acquainted with the new faces at their tables. Some great conversations followed and overall the whole event went off without a hitch!

Our goal with these events is to create a business networking environment that is centred around building real relationships. By focusing on making the experience relaxed and enjoyable, business leaders can have a break from their offices and spend quality time with a like-minded group of people. We want to avoid a culture of sales pitches and a “speed dating” mentality.

A heartfelt thank you to the Winchester group and all of the guests for being such great sports. Also, a huge shout-out to Chewton Glen and all the staff who make these events possible!
